Description
Chinese brocade silk waistcoat. Vest is an orange brocade with an unpatterned, orange lining. There is a small 120 mm long vertical slit on either side, starting at the hem. At the front of the vest are 3 holes on each flap. The holes are trimmed with metal rivets. Criss-crossed through the holes, is a back cord. In the donor agreement, the vest is mentioned: "The zip back shirt I wore as a teenager in the late 1960s. I wore it to my 21st birthday with the Chinese brocade silk waist coat, wide flared trousers and high platform shoes."
