Description
3 miniature medals worn for formal occasions. The left medal has a blue/red/light blue ribbon with gold star. Obverse depicts Imperial crown at the top of the star. In the centre 'GRI VI' surrounded by text, 'The 1939-1945 Star'. Reverse: Plain. The centre medal has a black, yellow and blue ribbon with gold star.Obverse depicts Imperial crown at the top of the star. In the centre 'GRI IV' surrounded by text, 'The Air Crew Europe Star'. Reverse: Plain. The right medal has a red, blue and white ribbon and silver medal. Obverse depicts a profile portrait of King George with the text, 'G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP: GEORGIVS VI D:'. Reverse depicts a lion attacking a Griffin with text, '1939 1945'. On the Reverse of the three medals, the ribbons are folded over a bar and attached with black stitching. There is a metal pin to attach the medals to a jacket.
