Description

Blue and white ribbon and round silver medal. Polish Air Force Active Service Medal, World War II. The medal is round with laurel leaves forming the border and edge of the medal on both sides. The front centre of the medal has a square pattern on it. The reverse or back of the medal reads: POLSKA SWEMU OBROÑCY. The blue and white striped ribbon loops through a small ring attached to the apex of the round medal. A flat, silver, metal plate is fitted to the top, back of the ribbon. This metal plate has a metal pin and catch on it for pinning the medal onto the wearer.
