Description
Badge, brass, RAF Air Gunner's badge worn on the upper sleeve. Pre-World War II and for some time thereafter. Half-brass shell case cut lengthwise. Extending out from the sides of the shell case are a pair of brass wings. One wing to the left, the other to the right side. There is a pattern of 5 dots across the casing joining the wings to each other. There is a metal pin clasp on the back of the badge. The half shell is hollow.
