RAAF Observer's badge with embroidered details on a navy blue background. The badge depicts the letter 'O' embroidered in white, surrounded by a blue laurel wreath. On the right side is a white embroidered wing. On the reverse, is a stiff cotton backing (embroidery is visible through it).
