Description

Pilot's badge, black wool background with letters RAF embroidered in gold thread in the centre. Enfolded around the letters, are brown laurel leaves. Above the leaves, is a crown in gold with a red centre. Opening out to the right and left of the laurel leaves are wings. These wings have been embroidered with gold thread.
