Description

Embroidered wool, cotton pilot's badge on a black background. The badge consists of the letters 'NZ' surrounded by a laurel wreath. On top of the wreath is a crown and it is flanked by wings. The embroidery is light brown with the exception of the laurel wreath which is dark brown. On the back there are remnants of tissue paper with tiny holes in them (from stitches). The paper remnants are on the back of the crown, bottom of the laurel wreath and bottom of the left wing.
