Description
Blue, wool tunic with collar and lapel. There are 4 buttons down the front of the jacket, on the right jacket flap. There are 4 corresponding button holes on the left. There are 2 pleated breast pockets, one on each side. The pockets have a scalloped edge cover flap and a securing brass button. There are 2 snaps on each cover flap. Below the right pocket is a horizontal opening to an interior pocket. There is a side pocket on either side with a cover flap and securing button. All the buttons are brass and they have a crown and a bird in flight on them. There are 2 stripes of black/blue/black on each sleeve cuff. On the back, there is a vertical slit running from hem to waist. At the waist, there are 2 black elastic loops - perhaps for a belt. On the inside, the tunic is lined with blue satin and the sleeves are lined with striped cream-coloured cotton. There is an opening for a pocket on the right flap.
