Description
Blue-grey tunic with collars and lapels. There are 4 brass buttons down the front right jacket flap and 4 button holes on the left. There is a pleated breast pocket on either side. The pockets have scalloped edge cover flaps with a securing brass button. All of the brass buttons have a crown flanked by the letters 'NZ' above a bird in flight. Above the left breast pocket, is an embroidered Navigator's badge. The badge has the letter 'N' surrounded by a laurel wreath with a wing on the right side. There is a side pocket with cover flap on either side. At each shoulder, is a badge with 'NEW ZEALAND' embroidered on it. On each sleeve, just above the cuff, is a Warrant Officer's badge: embroidered crest with the motto: DIEU ET MON DROIT. Above each side pocket is a medal hook (maybe for a belt). At the back there is a vertical strip running from the hem to the waistline. Inside, the pockets are made of denim and the sleeves are lined with a cream-coloured cotton. There is a tab at the collar. Same colour and material belt.
