Description
Blue wool tunic with collar. 2 metal hooks and loops at collar to fasten it. 5 black buttons down the front of the right jacket flap and 5 corresponding button holes on a lining on the left jacket flap. On each shoulder is an epaulette adorned with a stripe (black/blue/black) and fastened with a black button. On each shoulder is a badge with 'New Zealand' embroidered on it. There is a pleated breast pocket on either side. Each pocket has a lined cover flap and black button to fasten it. Above the left breast pocket is a Navigator's badge. It is embroidered with the letter 'N' surrounded by a laurel wreath and a wing on the right side. At the waist is a strap on the left jacket flap that corresponds with a metal buckle and wool belt loop on the right flap. The sleeve cuffs are lined with denim and fastened with a black button.
