Description
Blue-grey jacket with collar. There are 2 buttons on the front of the right jacket flap, the rest are missing. There are 5 hidden button holes on denim lining on the left jacket flap. At the collar, there are 2 metal hooks (right side) and 2 metal loops (left side). There is a pleated breast pocket on either side lined with blue denim. Each has a cover flap with a scalloped edge and is closed by a single hidden button. At the waist is a strap on the left jacket flap that fits through a metal belt buckle and belt loop on the right side. Each shoulder has an epaulette adorned with 2 stripes (black/blue/black), on it. The epaulettes are secured near the collar with a brass button each. The cuffs are lined with blue denim and are closed with a hidden button each. The jacket is pleated at the back. On the inside, the collar, button seams and waist are lined with blue denim. Also, at the waist, is a second piece of fabric with 3 button holes in it. There are 2 interior pockets, each made of denim. Just below the collar, at each shoulder, is a blue patch of denim sewn to the jacket - perhaps used to reinforce the area where the epaulettes are attached.
