Description
Grey woollen greatcoat with blue cotton lining, has a collar with lapels. Under the collar, on each side, is a brass button. Down the front of the jacket, on each flap, is a row of 4 buttons and 4 button holes. Each of the buttons has a crown above a bird in flight. There is a side pocket with cover flap on each side. At the shoulders are 2 epaulettes. The epaulettes are decorated with 3 stripes (black, blue, black sequence each) and held in place by a brass button each. The sleeves have wide cuffs turned up at the end. The coat is pleated at the back. There is a strap across the waist at the back held in place by 2 bronze buttons. There is a vertical slit at the back running from the bottom edge to the waist. There are 2 buttons and button holes on either side of the slit (used to keep it closed). The coat has a blue cotton lining and piping along the seams. There is an opening for a breast pocket on the left hand side and above it is a grey button. Below the pocket is a grey tab, tri
