Training Manual - paper - World War I. Technical notes handbook issued to Pilots and Riggers of the Royal Flying Corps in World War I. Part 1 (Provisional) 1914 General Staff War Office. This manual was issued by Command of the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty and by command of the Army Council for the guidance of all concerned. The signatures of the Secretary Admiralty and Secretary War are on page 2. There are 11 chapters in the manual dealing with the care and administration of the Royal Flying Corps. This handbook was printed under the authority of His Majesty's Stationery Office by Harrison and Sons 45-47 St Martins Lane WC, Printers in ordinary to His Majesty. The numbered pages are 171 which includes the index at the back. An example of the items covered is "Internal-Combustion Engines".
