Description
Black and white photograph of 2 men standing on either side of a cockpit of a seaplane. The man on the left is wearing a flight jacket, helmet and goggles. The photograph is a close-up and the entire plan is not visible in the picture. Underneath the photograph is a caption typed on white paper which reads: GEORGE BOURNE AND GEORGE BOLT WITH THE WALSH BROTHERS BOEING SEAPLANE AT THE COMPLETION OF THE HEIGHT RECORD OF 6,500 FEET ON JANUARY 25TH 1919. The photograph is in a cream-coloured frame with brown trim sticker on the right side of the frame reads: ACC NO K26 40/75J.
