Description

The letter is written on Auckland Farmers' Union Ltd. letterhead and is printed in red. The letter is dated 5th May 1913. The message, in blue type, reads: To whom it may concern. This is to certify that Mr Charles Mills was in our employ for seven weeks as Ledger Keeper, during which time he carried out his duties to our satisfaction, leaving of his own accord, as he was offered a position more to his advantage. The letter is signed by the manager (signature may read A. Abrams).
