Description
Piece of envelope of German Zeppelin brought down at Billericay - Essex, September 23, 1916. A square of fine woven cloth with dark flecked grain. The cloth appears to have been sealed on one side with some chemical process. Written on the square of material in black ink is: "Piece of Envelope of German Zeppelin brought down at Billericay - Essex Sept. 23 1916.
