Description

Portion of German Zeppelin structure. Aluminium framework in an arch configuration with cross bracing. Constructed with 1 mm light gauge aluminium. The bracing is pot riveted with approximately 52 aluminium rivets. This piece of the rigid dirigible has been cut from the framework of the airship. The metal has been lacquered possibly to prevent corrosion.
