Description
A medal issued by the French Academie des Sports. Medal depicts a winged figure with outstretched arms. The figure is holding a branch in one hand. The folder in which the medal is encapsulated is brown, leather with gold trim. Printed on the folder: 'L'Academie des Sports à Miss Joan Batten 1935'. Inside folder has black and white printed paper inserts detailing the circumstances of the medal presentation. A green, velvet insert holds the medal.
