Description
-1 Parachute - Cargo parachute, cream silk fabric with 10 nylon, flat cords. The nylon cords are 10 mm wide. The ends of the nylon cords are looped through a 40 mm metal eyelet attached to 620 mm metal hawser. -2 Wire hawser 620 mm. The wire is 4 mm diameter. The eyelet securing the nylon cord is cast metal in a tear shape and fluted around the outside. The wire cable passes around the eyelet and is sealed by a metal clasp. The other end of the cable is also looped and sealed with a clasp. Attached to the loop is a cast iron coupling with a nut and bolt to secure the cargo. The coupling is 60 mm long and the belt 40 mm long.
