Description
Computer spool for a main frame computer. Outer plastic container like a drum. Diameter 370 mm with a white plastic hand-grip on one surface of the drum and a black/grey plastic hand-grip on the other. Inside the drum, is a central metal core 190 mm. Radiating out from this metal core are plastic discs spaced 10 mm apart. There are 10 plastic discs dividing the drum up into 10 channels for the computer tape to travel. The central core is fixed through a metal base plate by 6 nuts and bolts. The black base of the container has a rubber insulation around the perimeter of the inside rim. The rim of the black base is 23 mm. The letters ICL are printed on the white handle.
