Description
House flag of NAC, cream linen-like fabric. Constructed with 3 panels. The left hand side of the flag is reinforced with a heavier weight fabric forming a 40 mm wide border. A sleeve in this border has running through it a lanyard, length 1830 mm. At the top of the flag, the lanyard is secured to a wooden toggle 62 mm long. The other end of the lanyard extends through the side of the flag by 780 mm providing enough cord to secure the flag. The cord ends in a loop. In the centre of the flag, is a red circle with a diameter of 660 mm. Within the circle, is a winged bird in horizontal flight. The bird is white/cream coloured, the same as the background of the flag. The left hand corners of the flag are reinforced by extra fabric. The right hand corners of the flag are reinforced by lines of stitching. The maker's label on the 40 mm border reads: Made by Hutcheson, Wilson and Co. Ltd.
