Description
Flight simulator: Boeing 747 200 series used by Air New Zealand.
1. Flight Simulator: Cockpit of simulator replicates Boeing 747-200 cockpit. Nose section is built into flat platform and undersection shows all the cabling required to run the simulator.

2. Computer system: Large rectangular computer unit with light blue coloured doors, black frame and white and black components. Metal body with electrical components and wiring. Missing some of outer shell. Marked "SYSTEMS 32/77" "SYSTEMS / ENGINEERING LABORATORIES". One component is a terminal with a keyhole and keyboard; another component is a tape reader marked "GOULD". Doors provide access inside computer on both sides of unit.

3. Computer system: Tall square computer unit with tan colour scheme, on 3 rubber wheels with 4 rubber screw down 'feet'. Metal doors at top and bottom of front of unit with two 'panels' in centre with gap above. Top 'panel' features 2 floppy disc drives. Different parts have different makers names. Marked "EVANS & SUTHERLAND" "9N5-150-17C / SERIAL NO. 1748" & "TEXAS INSTRUMENTS 980B" & "EVANS & SUTHERLAND NOVOVIEW SP-1".

4. Display panel: "747 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM" features instruments and plan of a 747's hydraulic system. Display panel has white control face that features leavers, switches and instruments from a 747. Made of wood, metal and rubber, Is long and rectangular with gray frame/body, sits on 4 lockable wheels at each side.

5. Display panel: "747 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM" features instruments and plan of a 747's electrical system. Display panel has white control face that features leavers, switches and instruments from a 747. Made of wood, metal and rubber, Is long and rectangular with gray frame/body, sits on 4 lockable wheels at each side.

6. Display panel: "747 AIR CONDIDTIONING SYSTEM" features instruments and plan of a 747's air conditioning system along with featuring a outline of a planes body. Display panel has white control face that features leavers, switches and instruments from a 747. Made of wood, metal and rubber, Is long and rectangular with gray frame/body, sits on 4 lockable wheels at each side.

7. Display panel: "747 POWER PLANT AND FUEL SYSTEM" features instruments and plan of a 747's fuel and power systems also shows outline of the planes wings. Display panel has white control face that features leavers, switches and instruments from a 747. Made of wood, metal and rubber, Is long and rectangular with gray frame/body, sits on 4 lockable wheels at each side.

8=10. Hydraulic mounts: x3. Trapezoid-shaped metal base with metal body that projects up to mount with two holes, two thin metal brackets on opposite side also features pipes.

11. Ramp: Metal ramp. Rails are on both sides of walking platform, painted white. Walking platform is silver coloured metal with strips of black sandpaper-like non-slip flooring. Bracket at back end is painted dark blue and is square shaped.
