Military portable rangefinder in original box. Barr & Stroud, portable military range finder with case. Type FT 27. Base 900 mm No.519, dated 1940. Box is wooden and painted green with two metal closure hooks and two leather buckled straps to close. Rangefinder is painted green with black parts, leather around eye pieces, and leather and textile carrying strap.
