Description
House flag, NAC. Linen, cream. Letters NAC in crimson in centre of flag. These letters are 310 mm high. An ascending azure blue line runs from the base line of the lettering to the apex line of the lettering, concluding with an azure blue bird in full winged flight.
The attachment end of the flag has a reinforced 40 mm hem, part of which is sleeved to accommodate a hemp rope 1750 mm long. Tied to the top of the rope, is a wooden toggle. The rope extends about 615 mm below the base of the flag and ends in a loop for securing to the flag pole lines.
All corners are reinforced and the flag is hemmed. The maker's label is just below the wooden toggle on the border of the flag. It reads "Made by Hutcheson, Wilson & Co. Ltd. Wellington".
Ink stamped in black is "MADE IN ENGLAND" on the bottom right seam of the flag.
