Description
An electric "Laun-Dry-Ette" washing machine. The unit consists of a copper tub with a green painted lid. There is a tap at the back left of tub. Tub sits on a rectangular stand, painted green, There is a twin-cup agitator inside the tub which moves in a perforated metal container. During the wash mode, twin cups comprising the agitator are pulled up and down and in addition giving a twisting motion. When the wash is done, the foot petal at front of tub is pushed down raising the basket containing the clothes out of the water. The basket is spun and water is extracted from the clothes.
