Description
Stamp holder - for storage and safe transportation of stamps.
Tortoise-shell; small, oval-shaped with a silver shield on its top surface. A tray pivots out from between the upper and lower surfaces which has a central cavity into which the stamp can be put and kept. The stamp contained, in this instance, is a 'Dominion of New Zealand, Penny Red'; a red stamp, with the figure of a female in its centre, to the value of one penny.
