Description
Hand edge mower, iron, with wooden handle/trailing roller. Single, steel, tangentially-ridged wheel running on the outside of a large diameter hub to which is attached the wooden shaft and also the gear train to drive the 4-bladed helix cutters, via the outside wheel, onto the bottom plate; balanced opposite by a small, steel wheel off-set with a trailing roller. Operated by an extended wooden shaft with one-piece handle set at right angles. Brand name, on inside cover plate, Secrest, Patent June 30, 1908. Model No.903. Painted green and red, made of wood and metal
