One of two knife switches mounted on a wooden board. One on the left marked "neutral" and one on the right marked "positive". There is a lever in the middle marked "TRIP". The whole assembly is mounted on a flat wooden base. Label attached reading "D.C. Circuit Breaker".

They are not just switches, they are overload breakers for use on DC . The picture is on its side the round brass part MUST be at the bottom . in vertical position . There is a special light oil in there.
