Section 1: The early days (two versions of Auckland on wheels, the first with music and labels (4 minutes), the second without sound, possibly the extended unedited footage (18 minutes)) -- Section 2: The early fifties (colour with black and white sequences of trams, cars, trolley buses, roadworks, signs, beach, boats, fishing, school children, poorts, traversers, tower trucks, removing tracks, construction of new head office, opening with N. B. Spencer, Daimler parts arriving in Auckland, May Road and Onehunga depots, interior cleaning of buses using extraction cleaner, bus washer, overhead trolley wiring with towers, track removal and road restoration, decorated trams for Golden Jubilee celebration (1902-1952) (69 minutes), set of news items (33 minutes) covering the running of the original electric trams in Christchurch, KA 945 and KA 942 travelling up the Raurimu Spiral, footage of the Baroon, Toroa and Kestrel, an Airbus that almost crashed, Catalina flying boat with a guard of honour of World War II Harvards, footage of the Toroa and Kestrel including stocking the boilers and the running engines).
