Description
China teapot shaped like a cottage. -1 Teapot, has the same hand-painted design on both sides. The side has a small yellow door in one corner with a blue stairway leading to it. A green tree overhangs the doorway. Beside the door are two windows, with three windows on the upper floor, surrounded by a balcony rail. Green grass and coloured plants adorn the front garden. The spout opening is roughly triangular in shape and projects out. There is a tree on either side of the spout. The handle is large and painted brown. It tapers into the base of a tree with the top emerging into the green top of the tree. -2 The lid forms a major section of the roof with a small brown chimney on top. There are two black dots on top representing the chimney outlets. The lid has a forward slope to its base which goes to the front of the teapot so the lid does not fall off during pouring.
