23 x AA membership cards for 21 years.

Automobile Association (Auckland) membership card. The membership cards issued from August 1957 through to the expiry date of August 1980. Light cardboard in buff yellow colour while the colours of Font and logo changed throughout the years.

All the cards have an AA logo on the front and the expiry date. The AA logo changes in the year 1965 and 1969. All the cards were issued in the name of Mr.P.L. Vandyke (Alternative spelling Mr P.L. Van Dijk from 1972), and the last card dated 1979, was issued to Mrs B.A. Van Dijk.

Early cards (1985-1965) show a "Card No." inside, and also had a "locking tab" and corresponding slot. From the membership card issued in 1965 onwards, all cards show a Receipt No. sticker indicating "Paid". The later cards are fractionally longer. The cards issued from 1957 to 1967 showed a subscription fee of ₤1.0.0, from 1967 the fee changed to $3.00. From 1971 the fee continued to gradually increase to $5.00, 1974 - $7.00, 1975 - $9.00, 1976 - $11.00, 1977 - $13.00, 1978 - $14.00. For the membership card issued in 1979 the fee was dropped to $2.50.

The card issued in 1965 card has interior printing upside down.
