Description
Trunk - large cabin trunk made of thick brown leather with 3 parallel wooden ribs all around the trunk. These ribs have metal reinforcements on their curvatures. There is a large carry handle on each side, but no handle on the front. There are 2 metal clasps on the front which lock into a slot with a sliding mechanism and key-hole arrangement. Keys are missing. The trunk has reinforced protective corners made up of matching leather riveted into the lid and lower portion of the trunk. There is a leather name tag buckled onto the right side handle of the trunk. The trunk opens up to reveal a white and light grey striped lining. The lid is held upright by a pair of cotton straps on either side. There are 4 metal brackets, one in each corner, about three quarters of the way up from the bottom. These are probably to support an extra tray which is missing.
