Description
Vacuum cleaner; upright; Hoover; Model 612. Metal and plastic with a fabric dust receptacle. The power extension cord in brown plastic. The main body flat across the front, narrow at the rear; mostly a light brown, mottled enamel with a brown plastic superstructure - this has a clear plastic strip across the front. The unit rides on 4 plastic wheels with the revolving brush and suction mechanism at the front.
The Start/Stop switch is situated at the left and is foot-operated as is another function, also on the same side. The dust feeds out of the back into the bag which hangs via a string from the steering shaft.
The steering shaft is steel, painted brown, with a curved rubber handle. The power supply is fixed up the side and is stored on 2 posts when not in use.
