Ex Auckland Trolleybus Leyland No.85 (known as "Saro's" or "Tanks").
Chassis: British United Traction RETBĀ½ built by Leyland.
Equipment: British Thompson-Houston (UK)
Bodywork: Saunders Roe (UK) assembled from kitset by ATB (Auckland Transport Board). 45 seats.
In service: 1956-1977.
Of 40 built, one survivor (numbers 60 - 99). First of the lightweight trolley buses. Brief venture of SARO into bus construction.
