Description
Dennis red pump trailer for fire. Ex: Invercargill Emergency Precaution Scheme. Yellow stripes around edges, leather belt buckles holding hose connectors at sides, one and a half registration plates (575GI and with half one over it reads 575AM10).
Brief History
Manufactured by the English firm, Dennis Brothers Limited, this Fire Pump Trailer was imported to New Zealand in 1943, the year it was made.

Initially this vehicle was operated by the National Service Department, then in 1946 it was transferred to the Invercargill Fire Board. It operated here until 1976, when it was retired from public service.

These types of Pump Trailers were used throughout the country.
