Description
Sprayer - horse-drawn market garden sprayer. Large steel spoked wheels. Barrel container for spray. Also referred to as a Tip Dray in MOTAT files. Actually a farm modified dray fitted with a wooden barrel and steel wheels to suit the requirements of its last owner. Painted black and grey.
Brief History
This is a dray (a two-wheeled cart without sides) which was modified through the addition of a wooden barrel, fixed in place by metal hoops or fasteners. The purpose of the barrel was to hold liquid fertilizer which could be transported more easily across paddocks so it could be sprayed over crops.

The sprayer/dray was modified by its owner, who adapted it to suit their farming needs.
