Description
Wooden magneto table telephone. The main unit is a solid block of wood with a crank handle on the right hand side. The handset is rather stylish with a knurled grip in the middle. The mouthpiece is bakelite and horn-shaped. The earpiece is metal and round. The handset sits in a double-U cradle mounted on top of the wooden unit. This handset microphone has a "sound magnifier" horn to aid the pick-up of speech. A brown plaited wire emerges out of the mouthpiece end and enters the main unit.
