Bone grinder, painted blue, wheel and threaded grinding head on three legged base.
Brief History
Bone cutters or grinders such as this Mann's Green Bone Cutter were used to process bones to add to poultry feed, as the calcium improved the eggs that were laid, giving them harder shells. Machines such as this were used by farmers from the late 1880s until commercial products became available.

Invented by Dr F.W. (Franklin Weston) Mann of Milford, Massachusetts, USA in 1889. Green bone refers to freshly butchered bone.
