Description
Thought to be a ferrule for an officer's baton. The letters "NZE" (in the centre of end for "New Zealand Engineers") with a circle around them. The outer area towards the peripheri reads "QUO FAS EET GLORIA DUCUNT +". Probably made from plated brass. Shaft is hollow (side view is like a giant rivet).
