Description
Inflatable, vest-like life preserver jackets Yellow/khaki cotton with inflatable rubber bladders. 'Vest pneumatic life' - specification No.AN6519-1 US Govt. Stamped with date mark: 1945. Halter type vest - commonly known as a 'Mae West'). A CO2 inflation bomb expanded the bladders or there was also a manual tube for inflation. This vest is a halter type - hang around neck. Dye sack/marker is present on the object. This object was originally wrongly marked as '303/78 B' when is should have been '302/78 B.'
