Description
"Reckitt's Bag Blue" (was commonly known in the singular 'Blue Bag') for clothes washing. Small, narrow, square tube of cardboard containing 4 blue-bags, each of which is made of muslin or similar. Inside each bag is a squat rod of a soluble blue substance (probably containing potassium permanganate [the blue]). Colour of printing is blue, white and red in various combinations (no maker's ID).
