Description
Oil temperature gauge for aircraft. The gauge has its own cable (now broken off from the back). The end of the cable is attached to a metal sensor rod (105 mm in length). The gauge has markings from 0 ~ 100. The numbers 20, 60 and 100 are white and inscribed into the black dial. The numbers 0, 40, 80 as well as the words OIL and TEMP have been filled in with luminous substance. The gauge is round and mounted on a square bracket with a hole in each corner for attaching to the aeroplane's instrument panel. On the back is inscribed a crown and the letters "AM" (Air Ministry). The back panel has 4 screws and a protruding metal tube which houses the input cable. On the very bottom of the dial, the words: "MA/10/39" are printed.
