Description
Dalton Aircraft Navigational Computer. Two rectangular sheets of plastic, one white, one clear, are held together with a rivet between two circular sheets, also white and clear. The rivet allows each sheet to rotate.

Side 1: This side contains an aerial dead reckoning slide rule, printed on the circular layer. This has instructions printed in black and two window to reveal the sheet below. Printed text reads, "Ground / Speed / Index / FOR / SPEED-TIME-DISTANCE / CALCULATIONS [...] / DALTON / AERIAL DEAD RECKONING / SLIDE RULE / MODEL B". Below the circular sheet is the text, "[...] / Airspeed Meter Calibration [...] / FLIGHT LOG / DALTON / AIRCFARFT NAVIGATIONAL / COMPUTER, MARK VII / Bastion Brothers Co. / U.S. Pat.2,013,603 / Copyright 1934 / by Philip Dalton". There are various pencil marks drawn onto the surface, and "FERRY COMMAND" is hand-written at the top of the slide rule.

Side 2: This side contains the two transparent layers of plastic, with the rectangular sheet covered in a grid printed in red with the text, "TRUE HEADING INDEX / DRIFT LEFT / DRIFT RIGHT / Track Lines and / Heading Line and Airspeed Scale / Groundspeed Scales". Handwritten on the back of the white layer is, "Remember Variation. / SET TRACK MADE GOOD ON RED-COURSE STEERED ON BLACK".The circular sheet has a black compass printed around the edge.
