Description

Pennant printed with 'RNZAF Hobsonville'. Triangular wool felt pennant. Deep mauve colour on front which seems to have faded. Colour at back is a bright mid blue which appears original. Design printed largely in yellow with green and orange accents. Widest edge of pennant has been folded over and there are loops at each end of the flag for hanging. On front: 'HOBSONVILLE.' At side is a wreath with eagle in middle and crown above. Below that is printed 'R.N.Z.A.F.' This is the coat of arms for the R.N.Z.A.F.
