Description
"Vest Pocket Autographic Kodak" Model B. Took no.127 roll film. Leaf shutter, fixed focus lens. Black finished metal case, approximately 3½" x 2¼" x 1¼". The autographic feature allowed the user to write information directly on the film using a stylus supplied with the camera when loaded with autographic film. There is a special writing window on the back of the camera.
Brief History
The first Vest Pocket Kodak camera was launched in 1912, without the Autographic feature of this model which was introduced in 1915. The , able to be fitted into a pocket, was known as a "soldier's camera" during World War One.
