Object detail

Description
8-tier (shelves) stand for saucepans. Made of light cast iron/steel. Appears to have originally been grey, then black, later white. Each shelf is circular with 3 mounting points. The pressed pattern is made from oval holes and triangles. Each centre is a large, 6-pointed star. It is not clear whether the stand came with a set of saucepans or not. Originally, had 8 stands (or "shelves"). Has 3 supports top to bottom, oval in section, some "shelves" are screwed in place. Stand tapers from widest at bottom (340 mm + support) to top (235 mm + support).
Note: The pots found on display were F924 to F930.2002. As the only pot found with "Kenrick" on it was F929.2002, it is not clear whether the stand and saucepans came as a set, or whether the others were lost, or bought separately.
