Description
Small, metal and brass coloured fire extinguisher in cylindrical form with pump handle and small nozzle at other end.
Brief History
This hand operated fire extinguisher was made by Chicago firm Underwriters Laboratories. This company specialised in developing fire fighting products that had been designed and tested specifically for different types of building materials. A range of industry standards were developed, alongside the notion of regular testing of fire fighting equipment.
