Description
Brass medal with red textile ribbon. Clasp at top with "MAYER & KEAN" engraved at the back behind the pin. Four banner shaped gold bars attached to the ribbon with "N. S. / 5 / F. B." embossed on each of them. Circular medallion with helmet and crossed axes depicted in the centre in relief. "NORTH SHORE / FIRE BOARD" is embossed around the medallion. On the reverse, "FIREMAN DRIVER / H MORGAN. / 1. 4. 56." is inscribed.
