Description
Daguerreotype miniature of a young man. Leather covered wooden case broken at the leather hinge. 2 brass fish-hook clasps. Believed to be New Zealand's oldest photograph Questionable due to stated date of make (1830) pre-dating the establishment of the business which made the daguerreotype.
