Description
Electronic Scooter [Lime-S 3.0 ‘Gen 3’]. Scooter has black handlebars, with a bell and a brake on the left. The black brake wire connects to the scooter stem. To the right of this is a small white square sign with a QR code in the centre, and "Scan to unlock" and a serial number underneath in black. There is a throttle mechanism on the right handlebar, with an embossed lime shape on the handle. There is a green box containing the scooter’s electronic motor just under the handlebars. The headlight is at the top of this box. “Lime-S” is printed in white text on the front. There is a Lime logo below. There are white patterned reflectors on either side of the box, with a barcode label on the right side: “LBCAT-S-EU CE / IMEI: 869313032004811 / SN: 181E42LKS8101400181”. The stem of the scooter is black. Halfway down the stem, “Lime” is printed twice in white text on either side. Underneath this, the stem is coloured white and is wider. There is a Lime logo on the top section, the rest of the stem is attached to a white downtube, which also has the Lime logo printed on either side of it. There is a label on the downtube, “SAFETY FIRST / Wear a helmet / Park responsibly / Do not block / sidewalk or traffic / CONTACT / 1-888-LIME-345 / support@bi.me / www.bi.me”. Underneath this is a barcode sticker: “SJ00301810000048”. In the centre of the handlebars is a digital display screen, with squared sides at the top, and a curved edge on the bottom. Below this is printed in white, “DOWNLOAD / LIME”, then two stickers below, "Download on the / App Store", "GET IT ON / Google Play". Below this is the Lime logo, and “Lime” in white text. Below this is a green patterned decoration. There is a suspension fork attached to the axle, with a white reflector in the centre. There are Lime logos embossed into the green ends of the tubes on either side. The front wheel has a green fender above it. The deck of the scooter is white coloured metal with a dark grey grip mat with raised text in the centre, [logo] “Lime S”. On the sides at the back are two white reflectors. There is a black kick stand on the left side. The rear wheel has a black fender and brake, with “Step to brake” printed on a red label. There are two green patterned stickers on either side of it. At the rear is a circular and a rectangular red reflector. The wheel has a barcode sticker on one side: “LLZW2836V181000160”, which is repeated on the wheel itself printed in white.
Brief History
This Gen 3.0 Lime e-scooter is one of four demonstration models, imported to be tested on Auckland’s hilly roads. It was also used in late 2019 to showcase the upgraded technology features of the newer model Lime e-scooters.
